I strongly support the rezoning of Our Neighborhood Child Development Center. This local business provides immense value to our community and supports what we need for the future of our town and society, with quality childcare already scare and even more so after the crisis. They truly respect and care for all stakeholders--the children, teachers and staff (critical for care that teaches our children to relate to others with empathy), families in and outside of the school, and the land/property.

I wholeheartedly support the rezoning of 1395 Stony Point Rd for the Our Neighborhood Child Development Center. As a resident of Albemarle Co., the Center is exactly what I would love to see more of in our county -- a small business that will preserve green space, enrich the lives of our youngest citizens & their families (and thereby the community), and contribute to the economy by employing teachers at a living wage, paying taxes, and allowing more parents to enter and stay in the workforce.

I strongly support the rezoning of Our Neighborhood Child Development Center. I am a teacher at Our Neighborhood and this school is honestly the only reason I am still living in Virginia today. It is the best job I have ever held. As someone with a BA in Elementary Education, this is the only school I have ever worked in where I felt valued as a teacher and seen as a whole person in the eyes of the organization. This school provides important, quality services to the community, please support us.

I strongly support the rezoning of Our Neighborhood Child Development Center. Our community is in need of high quality child care and this is an excellent opportunity to allow ONCDC to grow and serve more families. ONCDC is a local small business and an excellent employer in the area. In addition, they regularly offer classes to support individuals and parents in the community.

We strongly support the proposed rezoning for ONCDC, as the location will allow one of the most highly regarded Child Care organizations in the country to grow and provide opportunity for more children. In a country so woefully under-supplied with high quality day care, to not let one of this rezoning occur, and the organization grow in this way would be a huge loss to the community. The location can support it, it will further local business growth to the area, and employ a dedicated staff.

I am a teacher at Our Neighborhood and an Albemarle Co resident. This job is a big part of my life and has been one of the best things to happen to me. I've been here for 3 years and this is by far the most supportive and inclusive workplace I've been in. I am also able to get a decent salary which is rare for people in this field. This center is also a crucial part of the community, supporting families and children beyond those enrolled. Please support the proposal to rezone this property.

I strongly support the growth of the Child Development Center. I believe that the value this Center provides to the community is already impacting the quality of life of many families in the Charlottesville and Albemarle community. The new location of the Center would allow the Center to serve more families, and create more meaningful, living wage jobs, which is especially valuable to our community in the present uncertain times. Therefore, I express my enthusiastic support for the growth plan.
