My name is Emily Smith and I live on Stony Point Pass in Keswick, VA. I understand that there is a plan to hard-surface portions of Stony Point Pass. I wholeheartedly support the plan to apply any hard surface on Stony Point Pass. While the road is pastural and full of beautiful views, the dust that emits when vehicles traverse the road is dangerous to drivers. Visibility is greatly reduced on the road during "dry spells" when the gravel dust is at its worst. At night, headlights reflect back through the dust of the vehicle in front of you, causing further visibility concerns. Please listen to the calls for safety on our lovely road rather than small-minded residents who want to keep the road gravel. We need to pave the road. All support and thank you.
