    Dear Sir or Madam,
We live in a small development, just passed Miller school, off of Miller school Road. CenturyLink is our only Internet provider.
We have previously complained about their outrageous lack of accountability and responsibility. Our internet line was unceremoniously and incompetently disconnected in July 2021 In order to connect somebody else. It took them over two weeks to reconnect the line, cable running along the road, on top of the grass. A few months ago, 10/2021, a state lawnmower/road maintenance tractor went through and shredded the line, we again lost the Internet for about 10 days. CenturyLink promised to bury the line, but that still hasn’t happened. The line is still on the surface of the grass, it’s just a matter of time before something else happens to it.
CenturyLink is irresponsible, unreliable and incompetent. The reason we are with them - we don’t have another choice.

I live in Sugar Hollow and have CenturyLink phone and internet service. Every time that we lose our power from Dominion Power, it takes about 1 to 3 hours before we lose all CenturyLink services. This has been going on for years. Last week we had no CenturyLink phone or internet service all week until the power came back on late Saturday afternoon. Note that I have a whole house generator, so my house was fully powered the entire time. I do not understand why I lose CenturyLink services every time Dominion has an outage. Please note that I hear similar stories from many of my neighbors. To make matters worse, when I am on hold with CenturyLink customer service, the automated message is touting how their home phone lines stay in service during power outages and that makes them better than cell service. My cell service was the only thing working all last week!! Some of my neighbors can't get cell service. There is a big problem in the network that needs to be fixed.
